Dr. Jacob Herberger
Dr. Jacob Herberger is a native of Bourbonnais, Illinois, where he attended Olivet Nazarene University and received a B.S. in Athletic Training with a minor in Chemistry.
After graduation, he worked as an intern athletic trainer for the Chicago Bears followed by an Assistant Athletic Trainer position with the Windy City Bulls. In order to further advance his knowledge & skills for the treatment of his athletes, he decided to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. While Dr. Herberger has an extreme passion for the physically active, he also enjoys solving complex patient presentations & providing the fine tuning needed to reach his patient’s goals.
Dr. Herberger specializes in injury evaluation, functional movement assessments, rehabilitative techniques, return to sport programming, taping/bracing procedures, and manual therapy.
In his off time, Dr. Herberger enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, boating, watching & playing sports, weight lifting, and cooking.
