About Dr. Vitzthum:
Dr. Tyler is an Iowa native who recognized the importance of having a functioning, pain free spine, body and lifestyle from a young age. Being from a family of famers and construction workers, Dr. Tyler saw the firsthand effects of musculoskeletal issues and how they can complicate one’s quality of life.
Having an innate thirst for knowledge and interest in the human body and how it functions, Dr. Tyler began his studies at the University of Iowa where he received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology which helps him understand the mental consequences pain can produce, as well as allowing him to relate to people of all walks of life. After his undergraduate studies he continued his education by attending and graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic where he placed special emphasis on soft tissue mobilization and biomechanics to aid in reaching the best possible outcomes for all patients.
In his free time Dr. Tyler enjoys being outside, spending time with his fiancé, and devoting time to his hobbies which include playing the guitar, riding motorcycles and snowboarding in the winter.
